Constructing a shift pattern
table
- Description: A unique description of the shift
pattern table (required).
- Patterns (rows): The number of shift patterns
in the table. Each pattern is given a letter from A to Z, meaning
that up to 26 patterns can be included in a shift pattern table.
- Days (columns): The number of days in each shift
pattern. This number is the length of one leg.
- Notes: Any notes for this shift pattern table.
- To assign a shift, select a shift from the Shift
list and one or more desired cells, then either click Assign
Shift or drag/drop the shift into the desired cell(s). Off
days are represented by blank cells in the table.
Tip: You can assign more than one shift to a cell and can cut/copy/paste
shifts if you desire.
Note: The total number of working hours for each shift pattern
is displayed on the right side of the shift pattern table.
