The Shift View

Shift View

The Shift View presents scheduling information in a columnar format that lists each shift for a particular day or week across the topmost row, employee count reference numbers down the leftmost column, and the Employee/Position Chooser along the rightmost column.

The shift coverage planner is docked at the bottom of the screen and can be used to compare the number of assigned employees to the number of required employees. You can enter shift coverage requirements for a specific shift after selecting either position, skill, or reason from the shift coverage planner.

Each cell corresponds to a specific employee and a shift. On a particular day or week, all employees assigned to a shift are listed in cells underneath the shift. Multiple assignments in one cell are not allowed, but if an employee is scheduled to work a shift more than once, a will be displayed and it is up to you to resolve the conflict.

You can configure the Shift View and your settings will be saved until you modify them again. You can also perform many schedule view functions that are common across the schedule views, including the Shift View.
